The Swabian company is showcasing new interfaces for refrigeration units, tail lifts, through-loading hatches, and other components. As is customary at Trendfire, all products and new innovations are developed in-house and manufactured in Germany. Trendfire is exhibiting in Hall 25 at Booth C45.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The newly developed interfaces are used, among other things, in the food industry in articulated and through-loading trains. These robust end-to-end solutions enable, for example, the real-time detection of trailers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Unlike solutions from other providers, Trendfire\u2019s trailer detection is based not on Bluetooth but on RFID technology. Radio transponders operate quickly and accurately, whereas Bluetooth is repeatedly disrupted by external signals from nearby or passing trailers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As another new feature, Trendfire is introducing the integration of tail lifts. Data is retrieved directly from the components\u2019 control units. The data is collected and displayed graphically in the new temperature dashboard. It provides at-a-glance information on the current location, the cargo area temperature, and the status of doors, loading hatches, the ignition, and refrigeration units.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The \u201cTrendfire Trucking\u201d driver app also actively keeps drivers informed about all relevant data. In addition to job details, drivers can view temperature data, the number of axles, the gross vehicle weight rating, the trailer\u2019s license plate number, and other relevant information about the towed unit on their tablet or smartphone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The telematics system really shines, especially with complex vehicle configurations such as articulated and through-load trucks. The modular solution consists of telematics units for tractor units, motor vehicles, and trailers. It includes wireless sensors for monitoring door openings and temperature, as well as interfaces to other vehicle systems such as EBS, refrigeration units, and tail lifts. The goal of system integration is to provide the freight forwarder with a comprehensive overview of the vehicle and the shipment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Many modules and features of the Trendfire telematics solution play a role here. In addition to the hardware, features such as location tracking, vehicle pairing, alerts for vehicle-related events, and integration with tire pressure monitoring systems are essential. The overview of trips and stops\u2014including duration of stops and temperature graphs\u2014as well as integration with the TMS are also important.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Despite the large number of components installed and complex vehicle configurations, the installation is completed in just a few hours thanks to pre-assembled wiring harnesses and wireless sensors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To ensure seamless integration of telematics components into the existing IT infrastructure, Trendfire offers interfaces to various transportation management systems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
