Geofencing with Alerts
Geofencing and area monitoring make the use of GPS tracking as comfortable as possible. You don't need to constantly retrieve the current position of your vehicles, roadlox monitors areas defined by you and will notifes you,as soon as a vehicle leaves or enters the area. For example, you can be informed if a truck leaves your company premises without authorisation at night or arrives at a customer’s loading area. You can also analyze idle times at a location and configure automatic actions to be performed in the telematics app upon arrival at a tour stop.

Distance and Speed Log
In addition to classic vehicle tracking, many other functions can be realised with the location data. The data provide information about the Duration and route of an assignment. Workflows, breaks and addresses visited can be tracked and facilitate future planning and scheduling. On our roadlox web portal, you can always keep an eye on your vehicles and access all important vehicle data. The telematics unit also functions as digital black box: In cases of allegations of speeding or causing an accident, the vehicle's speed and location at the time in question can be accurately determined.
How does GPS tracking work with roadlox?
All you need to use GPS tracking is our telematics unit for trucks or trailers. For location tracking, we use the Global Positioning System (GPS) worldwide, among other technologies. Equipped with a GPS receiver, you can determine your position and speed anytime and anywhere. For accurate location tracking, the GPS receiver needs to receive the transmitted position data and times from at least three GPS satellites. The data obtained is transmitted directly from our telematics units to our data centre and made available on our internet portal. This way, you can always find the exact location of your vehicles and track all movements with precision.
